PAN (Permanent Account Number) is a 9-digit unique identification number issued by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Nepal. PAN is mandatory for filing income tax, conducting business transactions above NPR 50,000, opening bank accounts, and registering vehicles. Both individuals and businesses can apply for PAN.
Process Steps
Visit ird.gov.np and click on 'Online PAN Registration'
Choose PAN type: Individual or Business/Entity
Fill in personal details, address, and contact information
Upload required documents (citizenship, photo, business docs)
