Death Registration Certificate (Mrityu Darta)

Official registration of a citizen's demise at the local ward office. Legally required for property inheritance (Namari/Anshabanda), bank account closure, life insurance claims, pension claims, and civil record updation.

   Fill online registration at https://public.donidcr.gov.np within 35 days of death.

   Visit respective Ward Office with deceased's original citizenship and hospital/cremation slip.

   Ward secretary cancels the active citizenship record in national registry.

   Issues official Death Registration Certificate required for legal inheritance and bank transfers.
