The Electronic Building Permit System (e-BPS) is a web-based portal developed by the Government of Nepal to submit, check building code compliance, and approve architectural building maps online without visiting municipal offices.
Process Steps
Hire an engineer/architect registered with the municipality's e-BPS system.
Designer prepares digital CAD drawings following National Building Code (NBC 206).
Upload drawings, soil test report, and land ownership documents on municipality's e-BPS portal.
System conducts automated compliance check on setback, FAR, ground coverage, and height.
