Voter ID Card Registration & Verification (Matdata Parichayapatra)

The Election Commission of Nepal (ECN) registers all eligible Nepali citizens who have attained 18 years of age on the electoral voter roll. The biometric voter identity card is mandatory for casting votes in Federal, Provincial, and Local elections.

   Fill online pre-registration form on the Election Commission portal (https://election.gov.np).

   Enter citizenship number, district, date of issue, and permanent voting address.

   Select appointment date at your district election office or DAO.

   Visit the center with original citizenship for digital photo and ten-fingerprint biometric capture.
